This week's meeting of the Arab League foreign ministers did not discuss suspending Syria''s membership at the Arab League. The Lebanese Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour said in a television interview the aim of the meeting which was held in Cairo was to produce a solution to help Syria stabilize. However , he said that the 15 day period proposed by the meeting for dialogue between Damascus and the opposition under an Arab umbrella is not enough.
