Assistant Foreign Minister, Abdullah bin Faisal bin Jabur Al-Dosari, received international lecturer and President of the Global Security Institute in Washington, DC., Jonathan Granoff.

The Assistant Foreign Minister praised the lectures of Granoff, including those related to the culture of non-proliferation of nuclear weapons in the world, stressing that such lectures contribute to enhancing international peace and security.
He highlighted the efforts of Granoff in raising awareness on the danger of nuclear weapons, and noted the contributions of the Global Security Institute in Washington, DC.

The Assistant Foreign Minister affirmed Bahrain's support to international peace and security, and its call on the international community to make the Middle East a zone free of nuclear weapons and weapons of mass destruction, in accordance with the 1995 resolution on the Middle East and the Final Document of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty Review Conference 2010.
He also stressed the need to cooperate with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to preserve the security of the world and achieve further development.

Granoff praised the efforts of the ministry to achieve international peace and security, noting the role of the Kingdom of Bahrain in international conferences and its support to the principles and goals of the Charter of the United Nations.
