British spies and special forces are part of a new US-led mission in Syria to target Daesh terrorists, including Mohammed Emwazi, the hostage murderer who grew up in London, The Times reported on Friday.
The covert campaign has conducted several drone strikes on key members of the militant group, including the one last month that killed Junaid Hussain, a computer hacker from Birmingham and the second most-wanted Briton after Emwazi.
Special Air Service and British intelligence officers are understood to be sharing intelligence with the Americans to help find those on a list of targets.
