Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov left Bahrain today after a visit during which he held a discussion session with His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He was bidden farewell by Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Work and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS) and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and SCYS First Deputy Chairman and President of Bahrain Athletics Association Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
Shaikh Nasser stressed the importance of boosting relations and cooperation with Chechnya in various areas, including the youth and sport field. He lauded the role of the Chechen President in cementing ties binding the two friendly countries, describing the visit as a boost to bilateral relations.
The Chechen President was also seen off by Muharraq Governor Salman bin Isa bin Hindi, the Bahraini Ambassador to Russia and the Russian Ambassador to Bahrain.
