US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said Thursday the United States was focused on the future irrespective of whether the Palestinians submit a bid for UN membership of a state. "Regardless of what happens tomorrow, we remain focused on the day after in the United Nations," Clinton said as Palestinian president Mahmud Abbas prepared to hand over the application on Friday.
