Dr. Mustafa Kokso

A senior adviser to the Turkish prime minister said Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif’s visit to Turkey is of paramount importance and a testimony to the “comprehensive and distinguished Saudi-Turkish partnership in economic and security fields, and sheds light on the focus the two sister countries place on development.”
Speaking to Al-Riyadh newspaper, Dr. Mustafa Kokso said the visit confirms the position of the Saudi government and people in support of Turkey, which has been facing terrorism challenges, as well as the support for the Turkish government after the failed coup attempt.
The outcome of the visit will be multiple cooperation agreements between both sides, which will deepen ties in various areas.
“The Turkish side gives great importance to this visit, and arrangements have been made with great detail and accuracy,” he said, adding that the Kingdom’s businessmen are among the biggest commercial partners of Turkey in the region.
During the visit, the crown prince will meet heads of the largest Turkish companies to discuss partnership opportunities in the Saudi market.
“We have arranged a meeting between the crown prince and the largest Turkish companies to discuss investment in the Saudi market, and while our work focuses on attracting investment from abroad to Turkey, we work in both directions with Saudi Arabia specifically,” he said.
About 700 Saudi companies invest in Turkey, with total investments amounting to more than $6 billion.
All foreign investments in Turkey are protected by agreements that cannot be manipulated, Kokso assured.
