After many decades, Egypt is seriously seeking to return to Africa, with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi expressing keenness to maintain closer cooperation with other countries in the continent, Tanzania's Daily News reported Monday.
In a frontpage report, the paper highlighted Egyptian Sisi's meeting yesterday with a host of African media people and journalists.
"We are returning to our African sisters and brothers to join hands in building our African countries,” Sisi said during the meeting.
President Sisi described solid cooperation with African countries as the cornerstone of his country’s Foreign Policy.
