President Abdel Fattah El Sisi said Tuesday Egypt is proud of its long-standing relations with Guinea and is keen to boost bilateral relations at all levels.
He made the remarks during a phone call with his Guinean counterpart Alpha Condé.
Also, President Sisi said he is looking forward to fostering coordination and consultation with Condé during the coming period with regard to several African issues of common concern, Presidential spokesman Alaa Yousef said.
The Egyptian leader praised the efforts exerted by Condé in his capacity as the African Union’s president to strengthen solidarity and unity among African states, Yousef added.
For his part, the Guinean president expressed his country keenness on cementing distinguished ties and all aspects of cooperation with Egypt in different fields, in addition to increasing bilateral coordination as regards various regional issues, Yousef noted.
