Egypt seeks WB expertise in developing administrative system

Egypt and the World Bank (WB) discussed on Thursday ways of benefiting from the bank's expertise in developing the country's administrative system.

Deputy Planning and Administrative Reform Minister Saleh Abdel Rahman and a bank delegation tackled the government's efforts to upgrade the administrative system as well as the technical support the bank can offer in this score.

In a statement, the ministry said the two sides discussed the training courses that will be organized for administrative apparatus employees and ongoing efforts to computerize government services to better serve citizens.

The two sides agreed to continue coordination as regards the reform projects the ministry is carrying out.
