Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukri started on Monday a session of talks with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov in Moscow on boosting bilateral relations and coordination on a host of regional and international issues, topped by countering terrorism.
Shoukry's visit to Moscow falls within the framework of strategic ties and the "2+2 strategic dialogue" between foreign and defense ministers of the two countries.
On Sunday, Shoukry started a European tour that will also take him to Estonia.
After wrapping his visit to Russia, Shoukry will head to Estonia on Tuesday, to deliver a message from President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to his Estonian counterpart Kersti Kaljulaid on means of strengthening bilateral relations.
