The Eagle Salute 2016 naval exercise wrapped up on Thursday with the participation of the Egyptian, US and UAE navy forces within the Egyptian territorial waters of the Red Sea.

The exercise included performing drills for joint combat operations that involve naval scouting, defensive, offensive formations and reacting to hostile targets.

The forces also practiced firing live ammunition onto incoming airborne attacks, as well as measuring the accuracy of the participating units in shooting targets.
