Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Tuesday that NATO would provide instant intelligence to Turkey in its fight against outlawed Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK). Erdogan''s comments came prior to his departure from Istanbul''s Ataturk International Airport for a three day official visit to South Africa. "You have seen NATO''s agreement with us on the Mediterranean. Our works continue in the Mediterranean. As a NATO member, Turkey did not expect any other stance by NATO," Erdogan said. When reminded by a journalist about the remarks of US Secretary of Defense that Israel was rapidly becoming isolated in the region and that Israel should improve relations with Turkey, Erdogan said that those remarks were true. "Israel has chosen isolation by losing a friend as Turkey. It is not the people of Israel but the government of Israel that has chosen isolation," Erdogan said.
