MP Marwan Fares met on Thursday with the Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon, Mohammad Fathali, with talks featuring high on the general political situation in the region "amid the battles and attacks waged by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia against the people of Yemen, whose children are being killed."
The pair also discussed "the statements made by the Iranian president on the actual reality on the Arab arena, especially on the Lebanese arena," according to Fares who noted that "these statements reflect the reality and do not tamper with the freedom and sovereignty of Lebanon."
"It was agreed to continue to meet for the benefit of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Syrian Social Nationalist Party," he concluded
