French Foreign Minister Alain Juppe met here last night with his Egyptian counterpart Mohamed Kamel Amr, on the sidelines of the conference of “Friends of Libya”, hosted at the French capital Paris yesterday. The Ministers discussed the French and Egyptian bilateral relations and the Arab situation especially developments in Libya, along with Palestine Authority’s intention to go to the United Nations in September to seek the global organization’s recognition of the independent Palestinian state and the efforts exerted by Egypt to rally international support for the Palestinian efforts in this regard.
