A delegation from the Saxony Police in Germany was briefed about the exceptional experience of the Criminal Investigations Department of the Abu Dhabi Police.

Brigadier Dr. Rashid Mohammed Borsheed, Director of the Criminal Investigations Department, received the delegation, led by Thomas Hauessberger, Liaison Officer at the Federal Office of the German Criminal Police.

Both sides discussed bilateral ties and cooperation in developing police and security work, and to benefit from institutional training programmes that aim to combat and prevent crime.

The visit is part of a planned series of tours organised by the Training Administration at the Abu Dhabi Police, which aims to promote the mutual exchange of experiences and the development of knowledge and skills of police recruits, to comply with the latest developments and improve the level of police work, as per the best international practices.
