His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa sent a cable of congratulations to Canada's Governor-General Julie Payette on assuming her duties as governor-general.
In the cable, His Majesty wished Madame Payette success in the achievement of the friendly Canadian people's aspirations for more progress and prosperity.
