Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said that the Visegrad grouping summit welcomes the participation of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, pointing out the group countries appreciated Egypt's efforts for achieving development.
In a press conference with the group leaders and president Sisi, Orban said the summit focused on combating terrorism and illegal migration along with economic cooperation between Egypt and the European Union.
He pointed out that Egypt's measures to combat terror were not only serving Egypt but all of Europe.
He said that Egypt hosts millions of refugees and prevents them from reaching Europe and that hosting refugees constitutes a burden on the Egyptian government.
The Hungarian official said that he told President Sisi that Libya poses a threat to Europe and that they agreed on the importance of achieving stability in Libya through enabling its government to play a bigger role in maintaining security.
