Russian Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday that Moscow and Ankara are intensifying efforts to establish a fourth de-escalation zone in Idleb province, north of Syria.
Novosti News Agency quoted the ministry as saying in a statement following a meeting between Russian President’s special envoy, deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov and Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkey that the two sides expressed satisfaction that violence in Syria has been greatly reduced due to the establishment of 3 de-escalation zones within the framework of Astana process.
It added that the two sides agreed to intensify efforts to establish a fourth de-escalation zone in Idleb province
