Governor of Central Bank of Iran Valiollah Seif

Japanese Deputy Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Daishiro Yamagiwa on Saturday called for using the capacity of the nuclear deal terminating sanctions, Irna reported.

Yamagiwa chaired a Japanese delegation including directors of oil and gas industry, insurance and banking system who are currently visiting Tehran.

The delegation met with Governor of Central Bank of Iran Valiollah Seif on Saturday.

Seif told the delegation that Iran is keen on enhancing level of trade and economic ties with Japan.

Seif said that Iran has plenty of grounds and capacities for investment and Japan is an advanced country in the field of industry and technology, so vast markets in Iran and the region are the opportunity for producing advanced industrial outputs.

He welcomed more Japanese investment in Iran saying that obstacles and limitations should be removed promptly.

For his part, Yamagiwa welcomed Iran's readiness for expansion of cooperation and said that he would convey proposals of the governor to Japan ministries promptly.

"On the behalf of Japan government, I would like to felicitate nuclear agreement and we hope the created opportunities could be used for strengthening economic relations."

He said that Japan is waiting for implementation of JCPOA, but until that time, the government will support non-governmental companies, which intend to work in Iran.
