Iran\'s Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast said on Tuesday that his country welcomes Russia\'s efforts to find a diplomatic solution regarding the Iranian nuclear issue, rather than what he described as \"wrong\" solutions undertaken by some Western countries. The invitation extended by the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov to Salehi to visit Moscow is part of a continuing dialogue between the two countries,\" he added. He pointed to the recent visit of the Foreign Minister special envoy to Tehran, during which he it has been agreed to continue negotiations. On Russia\'\'s \"Step-by-Step\" proposal, the Foreign Ministry Spokesman said that Iran welcomes Russia\'\'s efforts, which adopt a \"positive vision\" aimed at finding out a diplomatic solution to Iran\'\'s nuclear program. Russia\'\'s Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on July 13 laid out a new \"step-by-step\" approach that would enable the Islamic Republic to take steps to address questions raised by the IAEA. According to the proposal, Iran can revive negotiations to alleviate the individual concerns of the IAEA about its nuclear activities and be rewarded along the way by partial removal of sanctions.
