Iranian foreign minister, Ali-Akbar Salehi, discussed development of bilateral relations in a meeting with Venezuela’s Foreign Minister, Nicolás Maduro, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly session. Salehi and Maduro, condemning the NATO military interference in Libya, discussed latest developments in the Middle East and North Africa. Iranian foreign minister in the meeting noted the important role of the regional countries in solving regional and international problems to prevent the outside powers’ interference. Venezuela\'s Foreign Minister, Nicolás Maduro, welcoming the development of bilateral relations, stressed upgrading bilateral relations. Venezuelan foreign minster, condemned issuance of sanctions, unrest, coup de ate and military interference to influence regional developments. Iran has become one of Venezuela\'s most important allies. Both countries have agreed that the work they do in many fields comes to achieve the common goal of getting rid of imperialism.
