An Israeli war boat has illegally entered the Lebanese territorial waters, said the Lebanese army on Saturday.

The gunboat breached the Lebanese territorial water at Ras el Naqoura, the army added in a statement.

The violation is being followed up in coordination with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), the statement added.
