The Israeli police last night broke into Al-Aqsa Mosque and drove out worshipers inside. Palestinian security sources said Monday that a force from the Israeli police stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque last night after Tarawih prayer to forcibly drove out about 30 worshipers, who preferred to stay in the Mosque to protect it from the Israeli settlers. Last Friday, the Israeli forces also stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque after more than 100 thousand Palestinians attended the first Friday prayer of the holy month of Ramadan. The Israeli forces surrounded the mosque before storming it and drove out the worshipers who were performing Tarawih prayer. The Israeli occupation bans any Muslims from existing in the Mosque after Tarawih till dawn prayer. Israeli soldiers imposed intensive measures and erected military checkpoints at the main crossroads and entrances to obstacle the movement of Palestinians during their way to the mosque.
