Japan April-June GDP growth revised down to 0.6 Pct

Japan's gross domestic product in April-June grew a revised 0.6 pct from the previous quarter in price-adjusted real terms, down from the preliminary reading of a 1.0 pct rise, the Cabinet Office said Friday.

On an annualised basis, April-June GDP rose 2.5 pct, against the 4.0 pct increase shown in the preliminary report released last month, Jiji Press reported, quoting the Cabinet Office.

Nominal GDP growth was revised downward to 0.7 pct, or an annualised rate of 3.0 pct, from 1.1 pct, or 4.6 pct.
