Japanese Foreign Minister Matsumoto Takeaki is to pay an official visit to China from July 3 to 4 at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart Yang Jiechi, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei said on Friday. During the visit the two top diplomats will discuss China-Japan relations in addition to regional and international issues of common concern, Xinhua news quoted him as saying. It will be the first visit to China by the Japanese foreign minister since he took office in March this year.
