Jordanian Prime Minister Hani Mulki said on Monday that Jordan's cooperation with the US and other world nations had helped to achieve real victories against terrorism that would pave the way for the return of stability and calm to the region and to start the reconstruction phase in Syria and Iraq.
Mulki made the remarks during his meeting with a delegation of US Congressional aides to discuss latest regional developments in addition to boosting relations between the two countries in all fields, said Petra news agency.
Mulki noted that Jordan had adopted a comprehensive approach to fight terrorism and spread awareness on its perils on countries and peoples, acting on military, security and ideological dimensions.
During the meeting, Mulki reviewed the political and economic reform program Jordan had undertaken, and thanked Washington for its aid that helped the Kingdom to carry out its reform and development plans.
He affirmed that Jordan seeks stability in Syria and expressed hope for creating suitable conditions that would help Syrian refugees to return to their country.
The visiting US Congressional aides commended Jordan's pivotal role in addition to the reform and comprehensive development program it had undertaken.
