Tehran - Irna
Any plan to divide Palestine would be rejected, said Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Ali Khamenei here Saturday, in his address to the 5th International Conference on the Palestinian Intifada. Referring to Iran\'s proposal to end the Palesitne-Israel problem, the Supreme Leader said, “We neither propose throwing Jewish migrants into the sea, nor do we propose arbitration of the United Nations. \'Iran has, instead, put forward holding of a massive election involving all Palestinians” to decide about the Palestinian issue, said the Ayatollah. He stated that the West has now reached a crossroads of either leaving its historical hegemony and recognizing the eligible rights of the Palestinian nation, or awaiting to receive “a tougher blow in a near future.” Referring to the latest statement of US President Barack Obama about the Zionist regime, the Ayatollah said, “The US president has said that Israel is his red line but he has to notice that this red line would be broken by the awakened nations of the region.” “What is threatening the Zionist regime is not the Iranian or resistance\'s missiles. The real threat is the firm intention of the Islamic states’ men and women who have decided not to accept the dominance of colonialists anymore,” added the Supreme Leader whose words were warmly welcomed by the audience who repeatedly shouted “Allah-o Akbar” (God Is the Greatest).
