Jordan's Prime Minister-designate Awn Khasawneh started contacts on Tuesday to form a new government . He met for this purpose with the speaker of the parliament and with a number of parliament members. He said that his consultations will cover all figures across the political spectrum, hoping that the new government will be formed within days. Khasawneh pledged that his government will combat corruption, adding there are pressing issues that must be tackled including poverty and gap between the classes in addition to economic issues.
