Russian President Vladimir Putin has no plans to receive head of Iran's Revolutionary Guards Qasem Soleimani, Sputnik quoted Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov as saying Friday.

Foreign media reported that Soleimani had arrived in Moscow to meet with Putin, citing sources in the US reconnaissance services. 

"No," Peskov said in response to whether Putin was to hold a meeting with Soleimani.

Several news outlets had reported earlier this year on possible visits of Soleimani to Russia. The Kremlin has repeatedly denied all reports.
