A military plane has crashed in the south of Morocco, the official MAP news agency and an official say. MAP did not say how many passengers were on board the C-130 Hercules aircraft but said the accident took place in Guelmine, just north of the disputed Western Sahara territory. The interior ministry official told AFP news agency several people had died. "This is a military plane that is used for the transport of troops, but also of their families," the official said. He said it was widely used in the Sahara. "Above all, it was the fog and bad weather conditions that are believed to be behind this accident. But for the moment, we don't have enough information," the official told AFP. From BBC
