New combat vehicles for the U.S. forces stationed in South Korea arrived here on Wednesday to ensure better battle readiness against North Korea, the U.S. military said. About 50 M2A2 Bradley Fighting Vehicles reached this port city, about 450 kilometers southeast of Seoul. Fitted with the latest tracking systems, fire control systems and advanced armor, these vehicles will be deployed at the U.S. 2nd Infantry Division, based north of Seoul. \"These upgraded Bradleys are coming to replace the current ones used by the 2nd Infantry Division,\" the U.S. 19th Expeditionary Sustainment Command said in a statement. The command handled the downloading of the vehicles from a cargo ship here. \"These operations for the replacement of the military vehicles are to ensure the maximum readiness of the war-fighting capabilities of the (division),\" the statement added.
