The Palestinian Foreign Ministry said the Israeli government continued its accelerated measures to approve the establishment of tens of Jewish settlements on Palestinian territories regardless of international warnings on the impact of such moves on peace chances and the US efforts to resume talks.
In a statement released on Monday, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry said the occupation forces are getting ready to approve the construction of 176 settlement units in eastern Al Quds, noting that the Israeli troops have recently seized scores of dunams in Jabel Al Mukaber district in al Quds.
The statement also denounced the international stances pertaining to settlement activities, saying that the matter is only restricted to issuing decisions without any action on the ground.
It also called for holding the Israeli side accountable for its violations of international laws and international legitimacy resolutions.
