Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has met with Norway's Envoy for the Middle East Peace Process Tor Wennesland.

During the meeting, the Palestinian President briefed the Norwegian Envoy on the latest developments in the Palestinian territory.

President Abbas stressed the importance of mobilising international support for the French initiative to hold an international peace conference to find a serious and realistic solutions leading to a just and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian cause.
