A Palestinian citizen suffered from various injuries today in a landmine explosion while herding his sheep flock east of Tubas in the West Bank. The Palestinian News Agency said the Palestinian citizen was transferred by a civilian car to a military roadblock near the area and then by an ambulance to a medical center in Tubas. Many citizens died or suffered from serious injuries and cases of amputations due to the land mines planted by the Israeli occupation forces in populated areas and grazinglands in the northern Jordan Valley, as well as by the remnants of ammunitions left by the occupation army after military maneuvers in the area.
