The foreign affairs committee at parliament convened Tuesday to review relations with the US in light of an upcoming visit by a Congress delegation to Egypt.

The visit will take place after president-elect Donald Trump takes office.

Head of the committee Dr Ahmed Saeed also posted the members on the outcome of his recent meeting with Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry.
