Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday chaired a meeting through video link and was briefed by Inspector General Police Punjab about the progress of horrendous events that took place in Kasur.
The meeting was attended by the head of Joint Investigation Team RPO Multan, RPO Sheikhupura, DG Punjab Forensic Science Agency and other concerned officials of JIT, from Kasur through video link.
The Chief Minister directed to utilize all out resources for hasty arrest of the accused involved in murder of minor girl. He said that investigation should be carried out in a scientific and professional
way to bring a monstrous person to the grip of the law. Work should be done in an integrated manner for the arrest of the accused and murderer should not be left un-trapped, he shared.
The Chief Minister also vowed that family members of two people who died in firing would be given justice at all costs. He directed the relevant authorities to take immediate steps to install latest cameras in Kasur.
Moreover, he added that installation of latest cameras will be connected to Punjab Safe City Project and all needful resources will be provided in this regard.
The Chief Minister said that he himself is monitoring the progress on the cases of killing of the child and two other people.
