A number of peaceful marches were organized after Friday prayers in several governorates demanding faster reform pace and avoiding any hikes in the prices of bread and other staples in downtown Amman. A demonstration called for fighting corruption and a parliamentary government. Other demonstrators urged the government not to increase the prices of fuel and basic commodities. Similar marches kicked off in Karak, Irbid and Tafileh calling for better economic conditions and the dissolution of the parliament.
