Qatari Foreign Minister Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani received a phone call from US Secretary of State John Kerry. 

The Qatar News Agency (QNA) said that the two sides discussed latest developments unfolding in the region, in addition to issues of mutual interest.
