HE Qatar\'s Deputy Prime Minister and Chief of the Emiri Diwan Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah , now visiting Japan ,met here Thursday with member of Japan\'\'s Parliament Toshihiro Nikai . At the outset of the meeting, HE the Deputy Prime Minister praised efforts of Toshihiro Nikai and his contributions to further cementing the Qatari-Japanese relations. For his part, Toshihiro Nikai voiced thanks to the leadership and people of Qatar for their support to Japan after the tsunami catastrophe . The meeting was attended on the Japanese side by the former member of the parliament Tdahiko Eto\'\'o whereas it was attended on the Qatari side by the delegation accompanying HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Chief of the Emiri Diwan. It is worth to mention that Toshihiro Nikai has assumed several ministerial posts in Japan the most important of which was the portfolio of Economy, Trade , lands and infrastructure and has made outstanding contributions to enhancing relations between Qatar and Japan.
