Newly elected Chief Minister of Balochistan Abdul Quddus Bizenjo Saturday said he would focus on resolving major issues of the province in short span of time as the government was about to complete its constitutional term.
Addressing the house after taking an oath, he said, “I am thankful to all the parliamentary parties and members of the house who supported me.”
The chief minister said he had come for providing relief to the people of Balochistan in all sectors specially in education and health ones.
He said water problem in Gwadar would be resolved on priority as it had great significance for the government and the people of Balochistan due to China Pakistan Economic Corridor project.
He said his government would take immediate measures for eradication of poverty and unemployment from the province by using all available resources.
Quddus said his government would fully cooperate with law enforcement agencies for improving the law and order in the province.
Other members of the house belonging to PML-N and opposition parties also addressed on the occasion and congratulated the newly elected chief minister of Balochistan.
It is pertinent to mention here that Quddus has been elected the new leader of the house under article 130 and 15 of the Constitution.
