After the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), Iran's relations with other countries became closer in scientific, cultural, social, and economic areas, President Hassan Rouhani said here Wednesday.
President Rouhani made the remarks at the 1st World Conference of Mayors and Councilors that started work today for two days, IRNA news agency reported.
These conditions have been created after the nuclear deal known as the JCPOA between Iran and world powers, the president said.
'We should make use of the post-JCPOA atmosphere and use each other's experiences,' he said.
'Today, if we want to reach an acceptable stability and tranquility in the world, we should be more patient and accept different cultures and opinions.
'If we want to stay clear of terrorism, extremism and violence, and reach a sustainable peace around the world, we should respect each others' cultures, show more tolerance and make different communities cultures and lifestyles closer to each other,' the president added.
