Minister of Defense Yacoub Al-Sarraf stressed Saturday his total rejection of Israel's aggression towards Lebanon and its breach of Lebanese sovereignty, urging the international community to take a firm stand in putting an end to Israel's hostile practices.
He indicated that Israel's continued violation of Lebanon's national airspace contradict with UN Resolution #1701 and all international conventions to which Lebanon is committed.
Sarraf's words came during his meeting with popular and municipal delegations who visited him at his residence earlier today, raising various developmental demands.
Moreover, the Defense Minister also expressed concern regarding the Israeli enemy's plans to build a separation wall along the southern borders with occupied Palestine, warning of "approaching the international borders, especially the Lebanese areas behind the Blue Line."
In this context, Sarraf called on all local and international forces to "pressure the enemy to spare the region more tension
