The Saudi government on Monday called for abondoning violence in addressing the events in some Arab countries. The cabinet, chaired by King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, called for immediate stop of violence and force, and to seek stability, security and justice, state-run news agency (SPA) reported. Meanwhile, the Saudi government strongly condemned the Israeli government\'s approval to build thousands of housing units in occupied East Jerusalem. It urged the international community anew to exercise pressure on Israel to stop these unilateral measures that aimed at judaizing the sacred city and changing its Arab and Islamic identity.
