Awad Mohamed bin Auf, Sudanese Defence Minister, has visited wounded and injured members of the Sudanese Armed Forces participating in the Arab Coalition's Operation Restoring Hope in Yemen and are now receiving treatment at the Zayed Military Hospital in Abu Dhabi.
During the visit, he was assured of their health and wished them a speedy recovery. He thanked the UAE leadership, led by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, for this humanitarian gesture.
He also commended the steadfastness, courage and heroism of the Sudanese Armed Forces, their fellow soldiers from the UAE Armed Forces, and the rest of the Arab Coalition Forces and their determination and courage in their noble mission to defend their brothers in Yemen.
The Sudanese injured said that they appreciated the visit of the minister and the chance to exchange talks with him on the care and attention they have received at Zayed Military Hospital.
