Foreign Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif on Wednesday said the first show of Tahir ul Qadri, chief of Pakistan Awami Tehrik (PAT), was flopped.
Tahir ul Qadri and Imran Khan had been using the same tactics in the past, he said talking to a private news channel.
People had rejected the protest demonstration of PAT held at Mall Road, Lahore, he said.
He said next election would be conducted in time, and Nawaz Sharif would have full support of masses, adding Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) had given sacrifices for the democratic system.
Commenting on Pakistan Peoples Party Co-Chairperson who also participated in PAT’s sit-in, he said Asif Zardari did not work for the betterment of the party, adding PPP was badly affected due to Zardari.
To a question regarding Imran Khan’s language, he said that those who used derogatory language against the parliament were themselves sitting in the assemblies.
