Tunisian Foreign Minister Khamis Al Jahnawi met with his Hungarian Counterpart Peter Szijjarto.
During the meeting on Monday, they discussed a number of regional and international issues of mutual concern, especially developments in Libya and Syria, as well as the issues of terrorism and immigration and the prospects for developing Tunisia's relations with the European Union, especially the Central European countries.
Following the meeting, two Memorandums of Understanding were signed between the two Foreign Ministries aimed at strengthening diplomatic and political consultations and between the Tunisian and Hungarian Ministries of Interior in the field of developing security cooperation.
