Dr. Harib Al Amimi, President of the State Audit Institution, SAI, has presided over the 70th Governing Board Meeting of the International Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions, INTOSAI, in Austria.

This is the second time the UAE is chairing this meeting which runs until 7th November, following the 22nd International Congress of Supreme Audit Institutions, XXII-INCOSAI, held in Abu Dhabi in December 2016.

Dr. Al Amimi said that meeting would cover a number of topics concerning INTOSAI's working mechanisms. The agenda would also discuss reporting on organisation's activities and its accomplishments.

The meeting will also review the Secretary-General's report on the organisation's financial performance, as well as its four main strategic goals which include professional standards, capacity development, knowledge sharing and knowledge services, and maximising the value of INTOSAI as an international organisation.
