UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed al Nahyan received Wednesday a telephone call from UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon, who briefed him on the latest developments in Somalia and the humanitarian crisis in the Horn of Africa. Emirates WAM news agency said that during the conversation, Sheikh Abdullah briefed Ki-Moon on the measures taken by the UAE to confront famine in the Horn of Africa and further boost the humanitarian role the UAE plays around the world. A UAE aid delegation will head to Somalia\'\'s capital, Mogadishu to run humanitarian operations to deliver aid to famine victims, he noted.
