Nikki Haley, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations

Nikki Haley, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, said on Sunday that "if he needs to," President Donald Trump will "do more" in Syria after approving a military strike on Thursday night against a Syrian air field.
"This is how he responded to the chemical attack in Syria," Haley said on CNN's "State of the Union." Haley said she tried "to give warning and notice to the members of the security council and the international community" that Trump will not "stop here." "If he needs to do more, he will do more," Haley said. "So really now what happens depends on how everyone responds to what happened in Syria and make sure we start moving toward a political solution and we start finding peace in that area."
