U.S. President Barack Obama said Thursday that Washington and the Arab monarchies of the Gulf were united in their commitment to defeating ISIS. 


"We remain united in our fight to destroy ISIL," he said, using another acronym for ISIS, at the close of a summit meeting in the Saudi capital with the six-nation Gulf Cooperation Council
